Revenge / Venganza

“Vengeance belongs to Me; I will repay”. Romans 12:19

One of the hardest areas in which to trust God is in the matter of justice. When we perceive an injustice we want to see the guilty party punished. But God warns us that vengeance is none of our business!

We all have been offended by someone at some point of our life, and the only responsibility we have is to respond to the offense with forgiveness, otherwise, God clearly states that He will not forgive you either (Matt 6:15).

God is absolutely just, and only He can ensure that justice is fully carried out. If we refuse to trust God’s justice, we become enslaved to bitterness and anger. We must guard our hearts and trust God to exercise His judgment against those who oppose Him. Forgive and forget!

Uno de los aspectos más difíciles para confiar en Dios es la justicia. Cuando percibimos una injusticia, deseamos que el culpable sea castigado. ¡Pero Dios nos advierte que la venganza no es asunto nuestro!

Todos hemos sido ofendidos por alguien en algún momento de nuestra vida, y nuestra única responsabilidad es responder a la ofensa con perdón; de lo contrario, Dios declara claramente que Él tampoco te perdonará (Mateo 6:15).

Dios es absolutamente justo, y solo Él puede garantizar que la justicia se cumpla plenamente. Si nos negamos a confiar en la justicia de Dios, nos volvemos esclavos de la amargura y la ira. Debemos proteger nuestro corazón y confiar en que Dios ejercerá su juicio contra quienes se le oponen. ¡Perdona y olvida!
